From Amsterdam, with a pit stop in the beautiful city of Ermelo on the Veluwe, my husband Pieter and I now live in Southeast Friesland. The peace, beauty of its nature, and the dynamics of the big cities nearby combined with the amazing no nonsense culture make living here so perfect. Friends keep telling tell us how our house gives such a holiday feeling and that they return home all recharged. They convinced me that we just have to share this place with others and that made me think…
A new surrounding also means a new challenge. After having worked for many years as deputy mayor and before that as head of a division of youth care, I decided it was time for a change…More balance and more quality of life. Therefore, I began a study and hope to get my Master’s degree in Business Economics. I combine this with interim management and an education in psychotherapy with the goal of starting a practice. When I am not busy studying, I get my energy from cooking, traveling, design and architecture, and I take lessons in modern ceramics. Ceramics is absolutely wonderful. Nothing beats a clear mind and working the clay with your bare hands.
The bed and breakfast is called PUUR ENZO… To me, pure (in Dutch translated to ‘puur’) stands for authenticity. Pure life by investing in real relationships with people and taking responsibility for your surroundings knowing that everything is connected. Pure food from honest, local products which are produced in a responsible way with respect for animals and nature. Pure design with love and care, such as the interior of the cabin. So obvious PUUR ENZO.
Welcome! I am looking forward to meeting you.
